If you are an employer with five or more employees you must, by law, produce a written safety policy. The policy must be signed and dated by the senior executive, it must be reviewed on a regular basis, and it must be revised to account for changes in legislation. With a wealth of experience working with both public and private sector organisations in designing and implementing Health and Safety policies we can support you in these and many other ways.

We work closely with all our customers in developing Safety Management Systems with all the elements required by the Management of Health & Safety At Work (HASAW) Regulations. We use the same criteria as those incorporated into the British Standard for effective health and safety management: BS8800: 2004, and audit your systems to verify them against the new ISO 18001:2007 standard.

OHSAS 18001 is an international standard recognised as the benchmark for Health and Safety Management Systems certification. It is fundamentally about identifying and controlling Health and Safety risks, reducing the potential for accidents, ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety Legislation and continually improving performance. It provides a framework for systematic identification and control of risks and improves performance. The standard parallels ISO 14001 and ISO 9000 for consistency and integration.
